Maurice Sendak, the beloved author illustrator of Where the Wild Things Are and many other influential books, gets his own retrospective this month at the Rosenbach. Show Someone How You Feel About Something
Show Someone How You Feel About something is a public art project in which participants can create an artwork to be mailed, which will then be shown in A-Space. Afterwards, the piece will be sent to the person you so choose. Every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday in May, you are invited to participate! This Monday the project will be in the A-Space from 6-8, Saturday the project will be in Clark Park from noon until 2pm, then on Sunday in the A-Space from noon until 2pm. West Philly

Crane Arts (Ice Box): Semi
Tyler MFA graduate candidates bring their diverse sensibilities to both the Ice Box and Gray Area in the Crane Arts building. The juried show, curated by Elizabeth Grady, attempts to let each of the MFA candidates stand out on their own, and, in a way, is a biennial of sorts, at least through the model of the exhibition.
